memories to keep

So as I was getting my tattoo (more on the whole story later) I was thinking... I was thinking "holy crap this is permanent an erasers don'te work!!!!" hehehe. and even through the teeth clenching eye watering pain I had to smile. I was remembering a time with my big sister Megan. We were in our old Yellow house back in El Dorado. How old did that make me? I don't know... maybe six. Megan just finished coloring a Care Bear picture for me out of a coloring book. It was nicely done, all in the lines even, with coloring crayons (also not erasable - which was the connection to my tattoo) . She shows it to me and asks if I want it colored lighter or darker? Right, lighter or darker done with crayons? Which do you think is easier to do? So, maybe being and honery little sister or maybe because I really wanted it that way, I don't remember which, I told her I wanted it lighter. hmmm. So bless her heart, being the same giving and caring person she is now, she used her finger nail to scrape away all the extra crayon wax she could to make my picture lighter... You've go to love that.

That's cute. She was never that nice to me. In fact I don't remember ever getting a colored page from Megan. Now I'm jealous.

Oh my gosh. You are funny. I remember that...

You know, I would have expected that from Erin, not you. Lighter. Geesh.
