Yard excavation!

Tomorrow my yard is getting a makeover! We (Chris and I) are renting a bobcat for a few days. We are taking up the cement in the front, building a small retaining wall across the front, releveling, laying cement, and putting down sod. In the back we are grinding out the massive stump, taking off a few inches of soil, putting new soil down, planting grass, and laying a patio. whew!

Harley's antics

Hah. It was so funny. I caught a fish yesterday - it was a carp, so we through it back into a shallow pool.















Harley caught it! After much paw flailing and bubble blowing, he threw it on the bank. Then he didn't know what to do with it, so I threw it back in the river.




He was looking for fish in the water for the rest of the day! It was like he was surprised that every stick he dragged ashore didn't start flopping around! Boxers are so fun!

AK snowboading

So while in AK we went snowboarding! The night before our main day they got 18 inches of new snow!!!!!!!





Erin did awesome! She was up and doing turns like a pro. She is just as good normal footed as she is switch. Her stance looks great.

Most of the time. I laughed so hard that day. She makes me laugh. When she wasn't up and ripping it - she was down. The 18 inches of new padding was good for landings!

By the end, her head and butt hurt! hehehe!

These pictures didn't actually come in this order - but I thought it was too fun. She actually learns really quick and will try whatever! She was perfecting her turns on steaper terrain than I usually bring new boarders and was great for her 5th time. She's a natural.
